I spoke to Starline who sold out there supply of 414 brass. I was told they would make another run once they had a sufficient backorder but thought it would probably be a year or two.

It took 20 years, but we all knew the original 100,000 piece run would dry up. Not sure if the Gates family sold all of their 414 back to Starline or not. Either way, I'd be surprised if they get enough orders to do another run. Don't they require a minimum of 50,000? -Lee www.singleactions.com

50,000 doesn't sound like a lot even with just the few 41 fruitcakes I'm aware of....

They have been "awaiting sufficient back orders" of .360 Dan Wesson brass for over three years. It might be a longgggggggg time before the .414 goes back in production.

Not that I have any interest in buying 360DW, but how does that work? In the last 3 years, prices of brass have risen 50% (or so). If you back ordered early, do they lock in your price? Mark
