IMHO hanging a wound like that out in the air that way at home is asking to loose a foot... Anyone ever exposed a petri dish of agar to the air and then stuck it in an incubator?

There is a reason why Fastdraw shooters use wax bullets and shotgun primer loads. The saftey rules are strictly enforced. Most of us also have deflectors built into the holster. Just in case. One got himself with a wax practicing for the State Championship. It can happen. Didn't brake the skin on his leg through the jeans but the bruise was nasty none the less. Anyone Fastdrawing with lead is a fool and deserves to be taught a lesson. This is a proper rig with a deflector.

So how do we know this is a quickdraw mishap? The Priest supplied the pics and Hoss posted them and neither one of them said that.

I have a friend who shot himself in the thigh with a .357 playing quick draw -- it can certainly happen.......
