Hey Fermin, what's with the mismatched belt and holster and, uh, a stainless double action -- almost like a picture 'toilet lever's" toes.
Ha,
Paul

Paul, Me and Mike hadda stop production to play a joke on a dear friend of ours. Needless to say it was priceless and I will have my matching belt here pretty quick. Meanwhile, here is the last 44 on a OMSBH that Alan Harton built for me. The bottom group was the first group I shot with the gun.....the trigger got away from me a couple of times and the load is a very heavy one. The top group is a 5 shot group at 30 yards. That load has proven very accurate inevery 44 mag I have tried it in. To answer your question about the Stainless 629, I got the base gun from fellow Sixgunner Tom Richardson, the barrel from John Taffin, the stock blanks from Tedd Adamavich and they were finished by my brother Henry. Alan Harton did the front sight and fitted the barrel.

Ha, Paul Mismatched belt and holster...what about the holster maker with NO holster??? That's a heck of a lineage on that Smith!! I have my eye on a couple of Mr. Tom's guns myself but he keeps a good eye on them everytime I'm around By the way Fermin, did you like the holster that I swapped you ? HAHA i figured you'd like it better than the ol' Barranti one anyway ;D

Fermin,
I have an Old Model SBH that I bought from Jeff Quinn that I've been trying to figure out what to do with. It just cries out for something like what Alan did to yours. I love that set back trigger. I think I would have the hammer done like the original TLAs -- I get way up on the grip and the web of my hand gets in the way of the hammer. As usual, Henry's grips are superb.
I ran some Beartooth Bullets 325gr LFNGCs over 19.5gr of H110 thru my 329 PD (chronoed 1,040 fps at 70 Deg F) -- as they say, killed at both ends.
Now that you have the picture thing down, don't be bashful.
Paul

Glenn, actually, Barranti is wearing an inside the W/B holster with a 1911 in it. You ARE a funny guy.....you will be getting a bill from me. Call it a finger fee.
Maxcactus, Thank You Sir.

Fermin, I hate your avatar -- It just ain't you -- picture of you and Mike would be better -- the picture of you at Flatlander's in the old Keith long range position would even be better.
FWIW,
Paul

Paul, let me know if you decide to have Alan build that sixgun you are talking about. I will make sure he has one of my TLA's handy to fabricate the hammer spur for your sixgun.

Fermin you really need to have a talk with Alan bout learning to make a accurate gun for you. This just won't do! Send it and that Clements #5 back with Bud so I can work the kinks out for you!.....
I have to ask what is the 429640 bullet I can not find a reference to it that tells me what it is?
