While I like some of the stuff on the Outdoor Channel most of it is not my cup of coffee. Micheal Banes' show is good but he still covers stuff I'm not that interested in. So heres what I want. I want a show staring our on JT that covers revolvers. He could take turns visiting all the custom smiths along with Ruger, S&W and places like Magnum Research. He could cover special hunting revolvers and hunting trips with just revolvers. I know JTs' wrists aren't up to the pounding of the mega bores anymore but I'm sure he could find someone to shoot them for the show. So what do ya say JT? Ready for your close up?

I volunteer my services to be his "shooter". ;D I would agree that I wish there were more handgun hunting shows, but have been told that there just is not enough interest. You RARELY ever see anyone on those shows use a handgun. Way back when Fred Bear started filming his bow hunts there was not a lot of interest either, but I think they may have changed. Most would agree that he was largely responsible for that change. Something to think about.

THANKS BUT NO THANKS. I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO SEMINARS AND MICHAEL ASKED ME TO DO A SHOOTING GALLERY SEGMENT. BUUUUUT 1) I WILL NOT TRAVEL; 2) I USED TO DO 1-1/2 HOUR PRESENTATIONS BUT NOW AFTER A FEW MINUTES MY VOICE GIVES OUT . 3) DID I MENTION I WON'T TRAVEL? 4) I DO NOT WANT TO EVEN THINK ABOUT THE WORK INVOLVED. 5) OH YES, I ALSO NEED TO SAY I WON'T TRAVEL.

Sounds like JT has his ducks in a row... Church, family, friends and guns... That is how it is supposed to be when you have done your time in the trenches.... We need to be thankful that he hasn't chosen to drop completly into the weeds....

Now that's a schedule we'd all like to have. I've always thought that was one of the objectives to work toward - being able to do exactly what you want to do everyday.
