Well with handguns only . The 90% would have to be split 3 ways .45lc , 22lr and .40S&W . The 45 and 22 for fun and the 40 because its my CCW caliber . The other 10% would probably be 30-30 contender .

That would be 45 Colt, 475 Linebaugh and 500 Linebaugh via S&W (factory or Stroh custom) or Ruger (factory, Harton or Crow custom), BFR tweaked by Harton or Bowen, respectively.

If we're talking time/volume, then due to tactical type courses and such, the Glock 9mm/.40 gets the nod. If we're talking about the generation of grins, my Ruger S.A.'s are still and always will be tops. steve b

I shoot more .22lr in my Single-Six than anything. Yes, I reload, but a good shooting rimfire is hard to beat. Second would be .45 ACP followed by .45 Colt.

Givivg axehandle the credit,
New has a lot to due with it. A 475 Linebaugh dominated the range for a long time. The 22s to see if it was my 475 cringe after too many rounds, or the load I was working on. Learning the sights and grip on that one took longer.
It was stocked very well, it was that you would tire out sooner, had to think too much.
Yeah, I am a kid at heart, New takes it.
'Course like in "Toy Story" you will always have your Woody.............

Probably more like 80/20 for me.
I do most my shooting with rimfires and most of that is with handguns. That typically amounts to 2000-3000rds a month and I still ain't worth a damn. Five guns get the most usage. An Old Model Single Six by far gets the most use followed by an older S&W K-22, a USFA 12/22, a Kimber 1911 with Ciener conversion and a new Ruger 22/45, the replaceable panel version.
Next up would be my various .44Mag's, .44Spl's and .44Colt's. The Magnums get loaded on a Dillon 650 and are obviously used the most. At least a few thousand a year. The majority of that shooting is done with my Clements custom stainless Bisley 4 5/8" and a Marlin Cowboy model but I've been trying to spend more time with the N-frames in the last year or two.

I was doing my best to wear out my Accusport Bisley Convertibles. They got send to Dustin Linebaugh's, so now I am without them. I blame the members of this board.
Filling the the gap now with a Ruger Mk II with a can when it needs to be a little more quiet. HK 45 USP CT when I can be noisy 4" Redhawks in 45 Colt when I need a wheelgun fix
School has had me too busy to get to the range. I'm spending a day or two in the reloading room to get ready for a summer shooting session.

For most of my adult life (law enforcement and firearms training business) I carried one form of 1911 or another, all chambered for the 45 ACP. Fooled around with a lot of other calibers and models, including revolvers, but the 1911 in 45 ACP dominated.
About the time I turned 60, and was forced to accept to realities of aging bones, joints and eyes, I have focused more attention on 357 Mag, 44 Special and 45 ACP N-frame Smith & Wessons and 357 Mag & 44 Mag 3-screw Flattop Rugers.

Hi...
The majority of my shooting in the last year has been pretty evenly divided between .357Mag and .45ACP, mostly in my various Ruger Blackhawks and a S&W 686 Silhouette model in .357 and a SA 1911A1 and a Colt Commander in .45ACP. Those handguns probably accounted for around 5000 rounds between them last shooting season.
Also managed to shoot a couple thousand .44Special rounds through a Taurus DA stainless 5-shot and a Ruger Flat Top from Lipsey's.
Another couple thousand through a half-dozen or so .45Colts, including a couple of original Vaqueros, several Blackhawks, a Super Blackhawk, a S&W 25 and a Webley top-break converted to .45Colt.
Add in another couple thousand through a Blackhawk and S&W 57 in .41Mag. and another couple thousand through the various .44Mags and several thousand through a .22SA and it begins to look like my teenage son and I are holding up our end of the bargain.
Unfortunately, due to various issues and situations beyond my control, we haven't fired so much as a single round this spring/summer. I believe we will be able to rectify that situation this weekend, God willing and the creek don't rise.
I have sufficient components to load several thousand rounds of each centerfire caliber and a vast stock of 22LR in house, so the only missing component is adequate time to reload and time for a shooting session around various homeowner tasks and the obligatory July 4th family get togethers and cookouts.
I have several other handguns that didn't even get to the range last year and I have high hopes that a particular Dan Wesson .375Supermag and my 38Spl Model 10and 9mm Luger will get some trigger time this year, but keeping my son happy with 357, 45ACP and 44Spl seems to take up the vast majority of my time at the reloading bench. By the time I reload for him and load 41Mag and 45Colt for me, it seems that the available time is gone (not to mention the wear and tear on my right arm from cranking the lever on my trusty RockChucker).

About 80% of my handguns and calibers see near equal use. I have a range in my backyard, & I start out with shooting just one gun, then it's joined by 6 or 8 more. According to my records, in the last year about a thousand each of 45 Colt, 45 acp, 44 mag, 44 special, 40 S&W, 357 & 38, then a just few 9mm's, 380's & 41 mags. Seems I shoot more centerfire than I do 22LR. My own casting & reloading helps with this I'm sure. Too many models & variations to list, single actions are Ruger, double actions are Ruger & S&W, autos are 1911's, S&W's, & Glocks. Two standouts may be a LW Superblackhawk I cobbled up last year & a Kimber 1911 that I've been trying see how long will function with just lube & no cleaning, 921 so far.
The other 20% of my flock are slowly becoming safe queens, guns that would be hard for me to replace in these tough times. They may have to be put on the block one day to pay bills & don't want to risk damaging in my rough & dirty activities around my little farm. They are a Freedom 97, A Les Baer 1911, & 8 or 10 O.M. Blackhawks. I still shoot them, just not as much.
Jack of all guns Master of none,
gunzo
