Was wondering if anyone had 50 pieces they'd be willing to sell?
Just acquired from a dear friend a 14" SSK and in my excitement, I'm trying to rush to finish a process.
I'm on the waitlist for a flat-side frame from HausofArms that this will eventually live on, outside of that I need to get some pachmayr accessories cause this is going to be a monster.
I got one from midway just now that they're in stock..
Also, any further experience is always welcome with this cartridge!

Brass of course is being the most difficult, bumping for visibility.
Tried calling Buffalo Bore and outside of their loaded ammo and $36 shipping for 20 rounds, no one has brass.

When the 445 SM first came out I bought on from IHMSA serial #88. It was so new that neither brass or loads were available. I needed to make my own brass from shortened 348 Winchester brass (which is probably just as hard to find nowadays).

I remember 44 Caliber wildcats formed from 30-40 Krag and 303 British. Also, 500 Linebaugh and 50 Alaskan built from 348 Winchester. Now, I'm just confused...

You are correct the cases were formed from 30-40 Krag cases. I have both calibers and old age crept up on me.
