I have been trying to find a suitable replacment for the 265 grain WFN that Marshall used to make. He sized some .451" for me to run in my .460 Rowland auto. He was also a .460 fan and told me that was the bullet he used and gave me his load data. Spot on. Of course when they closed shop The bullet went away. It had a large meplat but fed perfectly. I haven't found anything close to that design. I have a few left so I can probably get a mold cut for it. I would just rather buy a bunch if someone had something similar.

I may have a few left, but not sure if they are .451 or .452. I ran mine in 45 Super with a G21 and a 6", 4 - port barrel. I also loaded some in 45 Colt at standard pressure for my Harton Montado.
I'll check.

Montana Bullet Works has a couple of options in that design, but not weight. I see they offer either a 280 gr WFN or a 250 gr WFN.

I believe I have several hundred BTB 265gr. but you’d have to size them down from .452. Let me know, and I can bring them to HHC in a week, if you want to pick up instead of ship.

I love the 280 gr WFN PB bullets I throw from a mold Verl Smith made me some years back. With h2o cooled WW = 284 gr....not too light.....not too heavy. Just right! In either my 3.75" and 5-1/2" SS bisley's and a 20" Win 94, all 45 Colt, this bullet shows excellent accuracy with with Starline brass and H110. Alan

Would something like this work? 255 grains sized 451" Is that the Lee mold? I looks very similar. I have that mold. I have had decent results with that bullet. I haven't started powder coating them yet. I listened to Mr. Dick's pod castabout powder coating and am gung ho to try it when I get time. Haven't had time to cast anything in a while.

Trapr I would love to go but can't leave work at the moment. I would gladly buy them and pay what ever it cost to ship them. The last ones I got from Marshall were .452" and I sized them down to .451"

Not exactly, but... Pretty close. The Beartooth was a gas check as well. The nature of the the .460 Rowland with the powders that shoot the bullet fast enough will cause damage to the back of a plain base when approaching max loads.
