There are not a lot of revolvers out there in Bowen .50 Spl, and I don't see much info on taking them to the top end with a 400 or 410 LBT packed on top of a load of H110/W296. I'm rolling over a build for one, and wish I had more solid info on the round from guys who've utilized it at the top end to hunt with. I've bought and sold several revolvers in .500 Linebaugh, and like the round, but haven't had the accuracy I want with mid range loads, and the top end is nothing I'm interested in anymore. I think with a 6.5" Nimrod barrel, the .50 Special has the potential to be the round I'm after when maxed out with HELL110, but wonder if others could share their own experience with those types of loads?

I’ve had a few .510GNR 5 shots, and it’s halfway in between a 50 bowen ( which I’ve shot in those guns) and 500 Linebaugh. I’ve since reamed the cylinders out so they can all use 500L brass or any of the smaller loads. In a strong gun, ( mine are custom built Rugers and Freedom Arms 83’s) you can’t load a 50 Bowen mad enough to equal a GNR or Linebaugh load, or hurt the gun, using H110. It’s just like a 38+P in a 357 mag. Now if you’re using something like a S&W N frame conversion, keep them light. It’s a very different animal. I still shoot 50 bowen and 510GNR in these guns, for light plinking.

Agreed, and the above seems like a given to me, but would be nice to have more info.
