Ok, the only difference between this one and mine is this one has sling studs and rubber grips and mine is ported with Ironwood grips and I paid more for mine! What gives? www.gunbroker.com/item/1044775678Ronnie

There's a few good buys on there right now.
I sent a link to a forum member earlier...

Wish I could find a .475 at that price! That's more than I paid for my 6" 475 round butt 3 years ago. Their out there. Just gotta keep your eyes open.

What gives? www.gunbroker.com/item/1044775678Ronnie Porting is an upgrade (although I'm rather ambivalent about it), as are your grips (one can find Pachmayrs secondhand for a lot cheaper than fitted hardwood). I see sling studs as a detriment and the overall condition of the one linked is far from mint. The general finish would need to be resolved for it to live at my house, along with the need for a set of iron sights. It all goes into the equation. I don't so much look at the price, but at the price plus what it's going to cost to make it what I really want. Deals aren't always deals.
