Collector's isn't particularly savvy about unmarked customs. If anything in the thumbnail is non-factory the gun gets a close inspection for other clues. Like this Bearcat from a few days ago. Round butt and new grips on this 50th Anniversary model led to noticing the front sight alteration and set screw in the base pin. Came across an OM done up this way on a local forum, I Posted an I'll Take It the instant I saw it. Then everyone started to complain that there were no 3 screw Vaqueros blah blah blah, he pulled it until he could find out more...I never heard back dunno what came of it. Would really have liked to get my hands on it and see if there was a way to find what 'smith. Was the best looking conversion I had seen but was only pics of it.
