Maybe someday that’s what Bowen, Linebaughs, Huntingtons, and such will go for.

I have not seen the high end Linebaugh very much. The octagon and ivory They would do close
But that is what a full house build goes for from the top tier smith….Chen or Burton or Brian for example. Or 50% higher. Some have retired and some are taking no more work

Many years ago, I had the chance to buy a Brown Kobra Karry that had been worked over by a couple of top tier smith's. Just about did it. Pretty sure my wife would have had me committed. Pretty sure that pistol would be worth even more today. Not sure it would have been a great investment; but probably would have been ok even inflation adjusted.

I shoot my Swenson. And another smith added to it. Or Swenson added to the other smiths work. I believe the first. Did a helluva trigger. I’ll have only 2 triggers like that. And the other you can switch back and forth. But I found mine in a pawn shop. Cheap. The owner wondered why I didn’t haggle After paperwork he said “Okay……..now tell me……” I only knew it was a Swenson Slide needs reblued and better stocks. And it’s heavy!!!! Swenson but SS plates under the stocks to make a magazine well 67 Gold Cup
