How you like yours? I found one locally that is even cheaper. Brand new. Don't really need it. But it's cool. Been anti 44 Magnum by whole life. But only for snoody, eccentric reasons. I've dumped a ton of money on many things 45LC but not 44. And 90% of anything cool is chambered in 44 Mag.
I should just stop the fight.

I too have been a long time .45 Colt guy, and long ago sold or gave away most things .44 until last year and other than having dies I started from scratch again. Recently shooting the BFR .44 and .454 side by side I found out that I prefer the wide hammer and standard grip frame with rubber grips of my .454 (loaded with .45's) better than what you see in the listing though many or most would disagree. I know that's probably not very encouraging but the .44 is well done and I'll not be selling mine any time soon.

I love the 44 BFR, very accurate and handles recoil well. I started on 44 mag simply because of the availability of guns vs. 45 colt.

I have a new 6.5" 454 with same newer Single Action rubber grip....but having just moved back to Washington...it will be a few weeks until I can touch it. Anxious to see the felt recoil and how it's handled. I too will be loading "hot" 45LC in 454 cases. I don't need the horsepower but wanted the platform and optic ready frame.
