I believe it was -10 and later.

Book says for the 625 2001 -7 for ACP and 2001 -8 for 45colt. -10 was Scandium frame and 2" barrel. Yikes what a handfull.

The -7 was the first with MIM and last without a lock.

Those are neat guns. I have a few of them, pretty sure they were the only pre lock pre MIM 45 acp mountain guns made. They were 625-4s
