I'm curious.
I store them in a gun rug with a ring attached label used for keys and a couple in their holsters.

I have little racks….and those are full….so I slide them under the racks…..that’s full….now I just stack them like fire wood.
Scratches add character and chicks dig scars 🤣

I use a hanger system. Not enough space for pistol racks. NEVER,, EVER stored in any gun rug. Due to the fact that moisture can be trapped in them,, and cause rust or discoloring,, it's not recommended to use a rug for storage. Transporting,,, ? No problem. Condensation can form simply from the environment and humidity levels. Boxes & containers can actually cause bluing rub marks. Laid flat,, again,, rub marks are possible. Holsters can also create rub marks,, and trap a bit of moisture is used. The old saying' Rode hard & put up wet" was a reference to finding something abused. A safe should be a required accessory for gun owners.

Every handgun is in a zippered case, and a supply of ammo the gun is zeroed for is in the case. Most guns are in their holsters inside the case. The cases stack inside the safe with no chance of scratching a gun. They are a little bulky though. I’ve never had a gun rust in my safe.

Wiped off with a very light coat of Rig, Then put in Bore Stores brand gun socks. Golden rod also in safe. Never have had a problem with the Bore Stores. You can lay them on top of each other with no worries.

My safe looks like library shelves, as I’m a handgunner. I store every other gun in a gun rug, so it saves on space, and they are lined up like books, with the grip frames showing so I can identify them easily.

Some are in a rack, others are in those MTM storage boxes, and others are just lying on shelves, which reminds me that I need to order some more of those MTM boxes.

I've got cheap bamboo plate racks that serve as pistol racks. Gotta be careful with the wider ones but overall it works well.

I have peg board attached to the inside of my safe's (2 of 'em) doors. rubber coated metal hooks hole the guns and can be adjusted according to the guns size/position. Others are set on shelves (actually .50 cal. cans with no lids) that have carpet on the down-side. RIG has been our friend for many years!!!!

Five, 10 position Versa-racks work very well for me. Too bad they are no longer available.

Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted I use a combination of things, soft cases, door hanger and have resorted to stashing them like the Easter Bunny where ever I can jam them in. Right now I have 2 out at the spa, 7 out and 2 in the trunck. I need another storage device.

I got tired of trying to make room for things so I removed the interior and installed drawers instead. So much easier to access whatever I am looking for.
