My wife just sighed when I got my Tucker Gunleather HF 3 for my Smith 64-3, because I had been talking about it for some time, and of course, I pay my own way. When I mentioned I had a holster coming in the mail today, she said, "Wait, didn't you already GET your holster?" "Oh, not that one, this one is different." Hey, I pay my own way after all the bills are paid - we have that agreement. Works GREAT! Not really that expensive, at $130, really, from a maker I had heard of for years, touted by the one and only Evan Marshall of Stopping Power fame, Simply Rugged. I'm sure many here have drawers full of them - I haven't really ordered a made-to-order holster before I got my Tucker Gunleather one. My ex wife made sure there was never any money in the kitty for anything frivolous like that - would have interfered with her getting burgers and pizzas. But that's a WHOLE 'nother story... So, enough blather, here is my Simply Rugged El Dorado with border stamping and hammer thong, (which I still have to set up correctly, do I cut it?), with hasty cell phone photos right before I had to leave. So far, I think I'm gonna like this one, nice snug fit but still perfectly molded, no real break in.

I had never heard of Tucker before but somewhere I found contact info on him and he made an HF1 holster for my 5" N frames. This was ~17 years ago it still looks and fits like new.

My ol lady is very spoiled, but never once has she complained about my getting something for myself. In fact there's been a few times she's actually told me to get myself something since we can afford it and I haven't gotten myself anything in awhile.
This forum is not the only enabler I have.

I'm in the same position. Few years ago I had only a few plain holsters, now blamed if I'm not really a "collector" of the things. And mine of late have been "made to specifications" from some of the big names. A few of late: Bob Wright

Nice looking leather ! I think the name of that holster is a perfect fit. “Simply Rugged”: what could say it better ?
