I picked up this Smith 64-3 a few years ago, fantastic shooting revolver, and I thought I might spruce it up a bit. So I got some nice Monogrips... And then splurged wildly on a Tucker Gunleather HF3 rig. Yes, I have shot it with those grips, before I got the nice rig. It's not engraved, but a nice looking fully functional sidearm I feel perfectly fine with. I know lots of people have much nicer BBQ rigs, but I have mine.

For the places I go and the people I hang out with you would feel right at home with that rig.

A BBQ gun doesn't have to be super fancy to qualify. It just has to be YOUR choice for a BBQ gun.
Your's looks just fine!

There is not much you can't do with that rig. I have come to appreciate the clean lines of a k frame with fixed sights. I used ignore such revolvers, then I bought one. I have S&W 10 with a round but and heavy 4" barrel. I qualify with it and carry it.

I like it!
I've never been attracted to decoration on guns. I like them without embellishment.

Very nice....not being engraved you don't have to worry about getting BBQ sauce on it...wipes off much easier...
Who makes the black holster???
Nicely done...Bob

My working around the place and socializing gun is a Service Six with Hogue goncalo alves monogrip that is usually riding in a Galco pancake.
I perfectly understand you.

Nicely done...Bob The one in the second pic and on my belt is a Triple K 211 Easy Out Holster, got it from MidwayUSA last year as a placeholder while I was saving up for the really nice rig. It's not bad at all - actually fits the SAA as well. The one barely visible in the top pic was a used holster bin $10 special, worn and floppy. Thank you all for the kind words - took me a while and a new wife to get to this level.

If I have to have a flashy revolver I know I’m at the wrong barBque…… I have some nice revolvers…….and I’m building a set of “barBque” revolvers……but not for barBque……I’m gonna shoot the WEEEEE out of them till they aren’t
I have a 64-4 ex police gun. I love it. Looks just like the OP’s…….
