Nice one. I chose the exact same setup, except mine is 327 Federal/32-20.
This will be a score for the buyer...

Been 10-15yrs ago Fermin had an octagon FA set up the same way. I really wanted that gun, but ended up finding a NIB one with a round barrel at a great price. I put a scope on it and shot some really really good 100 yd groups with the 32-20’s. Also have another 97 convertible but with the 327 Fed cylinder. Never shot it though.

I remember that gun, I actually found it here in Colorado and he jumped on it. He struggles with 97 grip frames so it went down the road and bounced around to a member or two here, I have often wondered what became of that gun. I shot it once and it was a awesome tack driver that I dearly wish I owned...

I remember reaching out to him and he told me it was gone. He said he didn’t like the small grips and moved it on. Never knew who ended up with it. I really really liked that gun.

Had one with a 6.5"/.327 round barrel and just didn't like the balance...found a 4.25"/RB and just love the gun...long one went down the road.
If this was new it would be in the low $3k range...my guess it will sell for around $2400...

I owned a short barrel 32/327 that had the grip frame worked over and one piece grips made for it but when I redid the running gear on the ‘56 car it moved to Tim’s house. One of the few SS guns he has kept.

I'm pretty sure Fermin's gun had a 6" barrel. I bought it from him. Nice gun but it went down the road too.... I need this one. I have a holster for it!

One of the few SS guns he has kept. Still have it! Fun gun. I’d love to get a 32-20 cylinder but with shipping cost both ways plus the cylinder cost, it just doesn’t make much sense. Tim

That’s a really nice revolver but I’m more excited about the grips than anything. Super cool!

That's the ONLY FA I've ever seen with snakewood. Turns a boring looking gun into something with a soul.
