I bought it dirt cheap a year or two back. It is a NM Blackhawk 6.5-inch .357 mag. blue steel. Has a Square guard SBH grip frame and SBH hammer. I plan on taking it out to the mountain this spring. It shoots really well. I put a Belt Mtn pin in it, replaced the rubber grips with a set of stock Ruger grips a wolf trigger return spring, Since I last shot it. And thinking I might get a steel ejector rod housing for it and call it good. Looking at the Cylinder, and all that steel around the chambers, I think some pretty potent loads might find their way into them. I bought some 170 grain SWCs from Rim Rock. I bet you would need to use a pretty fast burning powder to bust that Cylinder. I am thinking i will use .296 and maybe 2400. I know it is not a freedom Arms and I won't try and make a 360 DW out of it. But It would be fun to hit 1300 with that 170 grain SWC. And from this heavy 6.5- inch revolver, easy to shoot too. ...tj

Are you planning to make it into a parts gun?

Those are max loads by the way. Between 40,000 and 42,000 cup. I stop there.

Bob. Not planning to make it a parts gun.it is made from parts from 2 Rugers. I have 2 k frame smith's. A GP-100 and OM flat top. I push the GPS 100 a little but baby the K frames. My Flat top has its own load. This thing has lots of steel around those chambers...
