That's exactly the next FA I want, but unless it can be had for a six pack of cheap beer I can't afford it right now!

I have the same gun, minus the octagon barrel. I bought it for myself for my 40th birthday.

Surprisingly, I currently could afford it; but... My dominant hand wrist has been hurting more lately and may need surgery again. Pretty sure shooting that wouldn't help it heal. Pretty sure my comptroller (AKA wife) would not be happy about it - especially since i still haven't shot last $2k+ revolver i bought. Finally, I still have trouble justifying to myself buying anything to fill a purpose I've already filled. That said...
That seems like a real good price on a really, really nice gun that I'd love to have.

I have a FA 475 and shoot a light load of HS6 most of the time. But my full power 475s hurt my old wrist. I only carry those in griz country or when hunting.

I have this guns twin with a 4 3/4” barrel, I have shot an awful lot of 375gr LFN bullets with W231 at 850fps and the gun becomes a big 45acp level for recoil. Easy shooting, accurate and even at that power level would blow through any deer if you wanted to hunt with it. Build up velo and bullet weight as you get used to the gun but they are a lot more fun at 850fps than they are at 1400fps…
Don’t be intimidated by the recoil factor.
