I was talking with one of our other members about that Nimrod. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see a full custom with a stainless hammer. You go to all that work and pay all that money and that one small detail gets left out. And 90% of the revolver looked great. But the other thing that threw me off was the flutes on that revolver.

I don't understand why he put the buy it now price on there at all, for what the gun is it was pretty reasonable by todays silly standards. If he had let the auction roll I think it would have brought quite more. Let me market set its value...

Wouldn't matter to me about the hammer. It'd be the first thing to go. I don't like them much. The SBH looks better to my eyes.

You go to all that work and pay all that money and that one small detail gets left out. I'm guilty of it, when I had Clements build my 500 built in 2000. One a minor thing that grew on me, but something I didn't consider, and one big issue that still bugs me to this day, all my fault, but it never even crossed my mind at the time.

I knew I should have bought it. His $7k number for a new build was a bit rich though.
That was a steel hammer. Some folks like the “Colt” look. I would never have left it white but I did screw up one time and forgot to order one colored. The gun is all blue so I just left it but every time I pick it up it’s all I can think about….
