...but this guy really thinks he has a "One-of-a-Kind"... www.gunbroker.com/item/1032734971I corresponded with the seller who was told buy the "reputable" dealer he bought the gun from that it was "brand new" and came this way from the factory... Unfortunate for him the gun was shipped in 1993 with blue steel gripframe and the stocks aren't even OEM Ruger...no medallion. "Bob: I never checked with Ruger concerning the configuration of this revolver because of their lack luster answers to my questions concerning previous revolvers. They always end up referring me to their web site where I can purchase a history search that provides no more information at $10.00 per issue that is available for free on their web site. I purchased this new from a trusted dealer in Florida. I have no doubt that it left the factory in its current configuration & hasn't been "reconfigured". Thank-you for your interest in my item, Ralphjpl" Asked him when he bought it but he never responded... Don't think he'll get but about 1/2 the asking price... Friend recently bought one just like this but the seller was honest enough to state that the SBH gripframe was added after it was purchase. He paid around $600 for it...

...it's relisted. Said he bought the gun brand new...my bet is in 1993 he wasn't old enough to buy handguns.
I'm sure the reason he didn't spend the whole $10 to get a letter is that it was going to say what they told him over the phone...it left the factory with a blue steel gripframe not the SS one on the gun now.
Same guy has a S&W 632 for $5k...

You can tell just by the fitment of the grip frame that it isn’t factory. My pre Covid rugers have exceptional grip frame to frame fit. Especially my stainless “baby vaquero” single six.
