Picked this one up a few months back. Still marvel at the condition of the little beast. Recoil shield looks like a new gun. Serial number places it between 1946 and 1960. As an I frame Hand Ejector with no model 31 marking and a flat latch makes one think it would be from early in the series but the serial number is from the higher end. The serial number stamped inside the grips speaks to the overall pedigree of the thing.

Hey I have your cousin that I recently adopted! Taurus model 73, the stamp puts the date somewhere around 1973-1981. Believe mine has a "heavy" barrel. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet, but I got everything for it minus some HBWC that I would like to shoot in it. But man is it a tight locking gun!

Nice revolvers…. I still prefer the 30-1 even though a little newer the 4” barrel helps me hit with it.
