About a hundred years ago; well, back in the last century, anyway; I tried muy hand a holster making. the first few were really duds and I discarded them. Actually, my wife sold them at a yard sale. I did make one I still have: And, some frty years later: And, some very early tries, gone by way of yard sale: The effort was interesting, and I learned to leave holster making to the professionals! Nice,, and it's "worn well!"
In HS & for a while after,, I dated a girl who was into leatherworking. I learned how to do some of it. I still tinker a bit on a few projects,, but I prefer to let my "Doc" make my shucks now.

Looks great to me, actually they all do! So cool to have the keeper after all that time, I’d have never guessed it was more than a couple of years old either.

Nice, my first attempt wasn't near as purty.

Pretty good looking holsters in my opinion. I make holsters and my first ones were not as nice but have come a long ways since.

Have you tried wet vacuum forming them? It REALLY makes a difference in fit and appearance.

Last time I tried holster making it was for a cap gun, it weren’t nearly as purty as Bob’s yard sale holsters.

I’ve made a few, none approaching your level of finish… my wife won’t let me get rid of the first one I made… yes, she kept all of the kids artwork too!
