Dates 1916... Slightly out of time. Hate seeing those buggered up screw heads. While not a Colt revolver fan, this one might fit in my 38 Special Revolver Set

What great guns. I have one made in 1910. Has a “heavy barrel” which came later so obviously a replacement. Gold bead front sight and U-notch rear. Its so doggone accurate that it’s almost boring to shoot. DA is butter smooth and SA pull is flawless.

I'll look for that front sight locking screw. Bet a good clean up would easily equal the cost of the thing. Might check around anyway.

Out of time or the normal "slow timing" Colts are known for? Either way worth fixing. Yikes , somebody got tired of slipping off that hammer. Yup , you "need" that one.
