Aria Ballistic Engineering sells theirs also in boxes of 20, for $60 - $75 a box, and in bullet weights of 340 gr to 460 grains. These are full tilt loads. Bullets available are: 4 loads come with Hawk bullets, some with Hornady XTP, hard cast flat nosed loads, and Cutting Edge flat nosed solid and Raptor. The selection is definitely there. What bugs me is I have been into this stuff about a year and am just now finding out about them, so I thought I'd share the info. Good luck.

They also show 500WE in stock. Expensive, but probably the only source out there. Might have to get a few boxes since I have been wanting a 500WE anyway then just have a JRH cylinder made for it for most of the shooting.

Thank you for the link...wonder where they are getting the WE brass from...
As to the .500 JRH, it says they are cutting .500 S&W cases to correct length, it says nothing however about reducing the rim to the correct size to fit into a FA 83 for which it was originally designed...wonder if they are or not. Although expensive, BB still has .500 JRH brass available.
Lacking from both lineups is a 1000 fps HC target round that would still probably kill everything it hit.
Have got a 4.75" RB twin cylinder 83 and unfortunately nothing in their lineup is anything I would want to pull the trigger on... 400 grains at 1100 is more than enough to get any job done I am ever likely to encounter.

Bob is BB no longer making their low velocity 500jrh loading?? I believe it was a 400-440 at 900fps. I have a few left from a box I got years ago

I've had a good experience with their ammo so far. Some pretty stout stuff too.

Good to see that someone has some experience with them. I had never heard of them until a few weeks ago. I stumbled upon them looking for reading material regarding the 458 Winchester. They have some pretty awesome loads with top of the line bullets. If I were in the lower 48, I would have to order some just to chronograph, out of curiosity. Apparently they are a fairly established outfit.

I talked to Aria as I was curious on the .500 JRH brass fitting a Model 83, and here's what I was told. They don't turn down the rim for the 83, but they can if asked. They also have a JRH Customer with an 83 that they cut down .500 Automax brass for and it head spaces off of the roll crimp. They trimmed his brass to 1.41" and he has never had issues. I thought that was a neat idea. Hope this is helpful.

Got a little more info, as I was curious. Thought I'd pass it along:
1. All of their loads can be ordered at lower velocities (or requested) velocities. No minimum quantities. You may have to wait an extra week or two to get ammo that is custom velocity. Make sure when you buy the ammo, put the requested velocity in the memo.
2. They can also load specialty bullets and weights that may or may not even be listed on their site (Minimum order 100 rounds).
