What does lead ingots go for by the # these days?

Depending upon where you buy them,, I see them from $1-$2 a pound. Luckily I rarely buy lead. But when I do,, it's at the scrap yard & not in ingot form.

Ya, I've still been seeing it around 1-2 bucks a pound.

At an auction over the weekend where they had 3 ton they were selling . It was poured in muffin pan ingots and I could barely leave a mark with my fingernail so pretty hard stuff.

All depends on how much you buy at a time and if you need it shipped in. In the past when I have bought certified lead in bulk 2000lb ended up costing half as much per pound than buying 2klb did after getting it shipped in...
If you can the way to do it is to have a few guys throw in together and buy in bulk.

I used to go to tire shops for wheel weights but nowadays they all seem to have a deal with scrappers and won't sell, so the metals recycle guys are my go to and a buck a pound is what I'm paying.
