Well I just brought home my first ever colt today. A king cobra and all I can say is wow. What a beautiful gun. Can't wait to shoot it. Fit and finish is excellent and feels great in the hand. Gonna be in my carry rotation for sure. Having trouble finding a replacement front sight though. Would like a night site or fiber optic. I'll keep searching. Attachments:

They are nice revolvers! I put a Marbles fiber optic front sight on mine. They are showing available at Brownells. My two complaints about the revolver are lack of service type grip availability. And, No Safariland Speedloaders. The K frame loaders work with .357 rounds, but not with .38 Special. Enjoy that new King Cobra!

Try the HKS D frame speedloader for Colt DS.

They really are nice guns. I've got the King Cobra Target 357 Mag and the 22 LR Version on Layaway.
I'm sure you'll like this gun...

eBay grips from Thailand. No tell in what wood they are but a huge improvement. I’ve bought GP100 grips from them too and was pleased then too.

Went to EBay and finally saw a set of grips for the KC .22, it took about three weeks to get them. Not sure of the wood, but " "]they are larger and checkered and finished extremely well.
