I ordered a Bisley hammer from Ruger and it came in today. On the invoice it says Hammer, .22 & .32, Hi-Gloss Bisley.
I’m hoping this will fit on a .41 Blackhawk, yes I’ve got a Bisley grip frame and trigger headed my way thanks to a fellow member.
This is the 1st Bisley set-up I’ve done myself and I was thinking all Bisley hammers would work. But I’ve been wrong before.
Thanks hunter966

If its the single six size, you just scored. Those hammers are hard to get. Somebody will be glad to buy it from you.

How can I tell the difference if it’s a single six size? I don’t have anything to reference to or against except for a SBH hammer on another gun.

The Bisley is not a drop in proposition with a standard grip frame. The Bisley hammer is easy enough to modify so it will work on a standard grip frame but…

Yes I’m swapping the plow handle grip frame, hammer and trigger out for the Bisley set.

You can tell the size by lining up the pin holes and comparing the height. And yes, if you got the wrong size hammer I will be happy to buy it from you.

If it's a single six size hammer I'd gladly trade you a Blackhawk bisley hammer for it.

If none of the guys who spoke first want it and if it's for the single six, I would like to buy it

I agree, if it’s a Single Six Bisley hammer I’ll trade you 2 Blackhawk hammers and a trigger for it. Or purchase it outright.

It doesn't look like anyone else wants the hammer.....so I'd buy it if you want to sell it. 😁
Looks like you have options to make it right.

If you're REPLACING a hammer, you have an original hammer to compare to.
Set the frame aside and put the hammer pin through BOTH hammers at the same time and if there is a difference, you will see it.

The grip frame I have coming only includes the trigger, grip frame and grips, no hammer.
