NRA Pistol Instructor pre qual sanity. We know the shooting requirement is 16 out of 20 in a 6 inch group at 45 feet. The fine print says a NRA Precision Pistol competitor with a Sharpshooter classification doesn't have to do it. FWIW "Sharpshooter" is 85 percent over a 2700 point possible 270 round match. I had a Master classification. "Master" is 95%. This is what a master shoots the pre qual like with a stock 9mm 1911.

We've been playing with the Ruger LCP 22 on the pre qual target. Little gun shoots good!

Looks good! I have an LCP 22 and found it to be finicky at first, but after break-in it shoots much better. Doesn't like the hyper velocity stuff, but high velocity seems to be running good so far. I find it very comfortable for such a small pistol.
