Yeah, I've been looking for something in particular since the end of last year and have only seen rare glimpses of it at a few places - out of stock almost everywhere. The few places that claim to have one either want full retail or more, are a scam site or have very poor CS reviews. I'll wait.
I've been paying much closer attention to reviews independent of the actual site. Sadly, there are a lot more places with terrible CS than was just a few years ago.

I've purchased quite a few items through GunBroker, guns international, etc over the years. 98% of those transactions have gone really well. Even some of them were I had some serious pucker Factor wondering whether the transaction was even going to go through or not. That said I had two transactions in somewhat recent history where one I purchased a Springfield TRP 10 mm from a top 10 seller on GunBroker. I went to pick it up from my dealer and they had sent the wrong gun. And then when I contacted them about it they made it sound like it was my fault and that they didn't make mistakes because they're a top 10 seller. Then more recently I purchased a pretty high-end custom revolver and it also had parts that were supposed to be included in the box. When I picked it up from my dealer they were not there. But my dealer had unpacked it and they typically do a very good job with all my transfers. So it could have been my FFL, it could have been the post office or maybe even the seller but he knew for a fact he included everything in the box. But the upshot was the seller still contacted me the other day asking about replacing the parts and that was months ago. There's still good people out there. But in the last several years the service level has dropped off everywhere.

I recently was the high bidder on an old model single six that had been converted but was shown and advertised as having the original parts included with the gun. When t he gun arrived the FFL opened the box and found that the original internal parts were NOT included in the box. When I went to down to confirm I immediately called the dealer and explained the error and the internet sales person said return the gun for a refund which I did that very day. Several weeks later I received my refund check minus 32% of the original price! I called the shop and the same person basically told me that even though my ffl and I both inspected the box and packaging and confirmed that the parts were NOT included with the gun, he knows they were in the box thus the refund of nearly $100 less than I was owed. Warning, never deal with Guns Galore out of Fenton Michigan! I recently purchased a used chronograph over eBay since this particular model was no longer made. It was listed as working and complete. Both of the sky screen shades were missing and the 10 foot cord to hook the reader to the chronograph was also gone. The reason I like this particular chronograph so well is the fact that I can set the reading screen right next to me and said having to try to read it off 10 feet away. Well hopefully with the one I have which is still working and the newer "parts" I can keep going. The weather has gotten too cold and windy for this old body so it would probably be spring before I find out.

I’ve tried calling to talk to the manager two or three times in the last day or so and he is always on the phone , busy or gone home. Figure with them being in Michigan and no plans on traveling there I think I’ll just let it ride. I guess I’m getting mellow in my old age.

I also take insult at people and businesses inferring that I am less than honorable. The Missus often reminds me that many people are not, so many businesses just assume that nobody is. It still irritates me to no end.
