I’m don’t think Bill made a lot of stainless guns so that in itself makes this one different as does the second cylinder. Assuming the one is a 44 mag cylinder is the second a 44 Special or 44-40? I personally have only owned one SS Improved #5 gun but one thing I gif with every TLA I owned was send it to Alan Harton to get the hardness of the internals checked and most often corrected.

Thanks, I bought it because it is absolutely beautiful, and the loading gate is on the wrong side. Contacted Mrs. Webb to fill out a info sheet for his records. I heard from a member about Alan. Probably should give him a call.

Probably should give him a call. Not on the wrong side. All the other Colts and copies are. Bill said he put the loading gates where it made sense for a right handed person. Keeping the grip and reloading with the offhand. Sam Colt and Bill Ruger were both lefties.

Stainless 44mag/44-40 with above average grips and what I assume is a factory case and maybe unfired condition, I think you're looking at $4000-4500 or a little better. Might be more now, the market has gotten a little weird this last year and the last stainless that sold was a while ago (and was a 45 Colt IIRC). What is in the little plastic baggies?

Not sure what’s in the bag, maybe sights blades?? I get possession of the gun Wednesday. Factory case, looks very unfired, but definitely will be fired with both cylinder. $4,000-$4,500 <<<< ok… I did good then anybody know a off the shelf holster? or is this custom only. I want to wear the gun at a “BBQ”

IIRC, THE OFF SIDED ERH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT INTO TRADITIONAL SA STYLE HOLSTERS. BBQ RIGS DESERVE NICE LEATHER HOLSTERS.
MY SS No. 5 WAS A SPECIAL MADE 5 SHOT 45 COLT WITH A BARREL BAND.
CONGRAGULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE, and TAKE THE HARTON ADVICE.

Single Action Service (Alan Harton) (Seven one three) 907-6031
For holsters, reach out to Mike "Doc" Barranti at Barranti Leather. They are not off the shelf but are certainly BBQ worthy.
ETA: You are on the right track! And congrats on a great TLA.

Sweet first post...and congrats on the TLA #5...I've always loved them and wouldn't have blinked before plopping down the cash for that one. You did well!
Welcome aboard!

It was kinda a unexpected impulsive buy. I should get it in my hands Tuesday or Wednesday. Now I’m looking for a holster! But I need to save up more money. I got it at a decent price too, and that’s always a plus because I plan to shoot it a lot

There is much debate over the question of Colt being left handed. And photos of Bill Ruger shooting certainly dispute that statement, as all photos show him as shooting righ handed.
But the Colt SAA was a cavalry revolvers, as were the cap-and-ball .44s prior to that. All were made with loading from the right side of the revolver, the cap-and-ball-revolvers loading the cap from the right side.
Consider this: Looading a revolver while mounted on horseback, the revlver was transferred to the left hand, so the left hand held the revovler and the reins at the same time. Since most men were right handed, therefore the right hand was the more dexterious, it was free to handle caps or cartridges.
The S&W Model 1875 Schofield revolver was done pretty much the same way. Held in the right hand, the thumb unlatched the thumb latch, the barrel was pressed against the thigh to "break" the gun and eject the hulls. Then the gun was transferred to the left hand, while still open, and fresh cartridges inserted.
