If you were in the market for a plastic 10mm which would you pick? Keeping the price topped out around $650. Something you wouldn't feel bad about cleaning in a creek if need be ha ha.
Feel free to suggest other models I may have not mentioned, or forgot about.

Glocks fit my hand worse than anything I have tried to shoot, but I do like the XDM grip and like them about as well as I can a plastic gun.

I'd go Glock 20 Gen 5. If not the Gen 5 then XDm 4.5

I love the 10mm, but have never wanted a plastic one. If I had to choose from the list, it'd be the Glock 20.

G20... The soulless tool. Been known to carry one in the creek. Just strip the slide off the frame and lay it all in the floorboard of the truck to dry.

...well...if it HAS to be PLASTIC...G20 is as simple as it gets... Had a 20/29/40 and only ended up keeping the 40 as with full loads the other two would induce serious FLINCH in about 5 rounds.
All my other 10mms are 1911s...

Glock 20 Gen 4 or 5, depending on how you feel about finger grooves

All my other 10mms are 1911s... The first I owned was a Hi Power in 40 S&W (which was a hot little number). The first 10mm was a single action (good field gun). Then I got to shoot a Delta Elite (Quite hot). Let me say I loathe Glocks, but I bought a Glock 40 long slide and it is easy on recoil and quite fine to shoot. The other Glock versions handled a little too light and didn't get tried. Out of the 40, the 10mm cartridge is a good match.

With a Streamlight TLR-1HL on the front of my 20, I actually think it shoots softer than my 40. Both are excellent pistols. While not a popular opinion amongst some here, I actually love Glocks and feel that the Glock 20 may be one of the best (if not THE) best general purpose field/duty pistols available.

I like single action revolvers and once despised Glocks and thought of them as plastic pieces of junk. Then I got a Glock 20. I no longer own any other semi auto pistols, I've got... Glock 20's. The only aftermarket parts on them are the sights and to be fair I could have lived with the OEM sights. And those Glock 20's have been as good as or better than every other semi auto pistol I've ever shot. I think it's about the single best all around semi auto pistol/cartridge combination available.
