I posted a question in the gunsmithing section as to asking if anyone knew the proper front sight height for a Smith 60-15. One poster who told me the method to determine proper sight height.
But no precise measuring instruments left after reloading room sell off, I went elsewhere.
Brownells and Midway attempted to sell me a HiViz sight for my J frame that fit the 2 1/8" barrel model. Computer chat boxes and phone screeners were little to no help. Both companies did not comprehend the adjustable sight part.
Called Smith and Wesson customer service. They had the sight height .270 and also are sending me a free front sight, and I didn't even have to ask!
