Well, the good news is that grip frame will come off. That means RW can fix it.

They will have to do better than that for me to even pick one up. Its Ugly, fixed sighted and expensive.

I don’t truthfully understand why we need another 4” 357 mag revolver. It seems like every company that makes revolvers has multiple models of 4” 357s
I have so many 357s already it makes my head spin, I can’t imagine needing another

Hard to picture that Henry and my house when there are old S&W Hand Ejectors out there just begging for a new home for less money. My latest pictured below. Better than money in the bank.

Looks are a personal thing. The cost does seem high for what's on the table. But when I saw the thread title, I was expecting to see a Big Boy caliber.

Smith and Wesson 15-3s are out there way more affordable and much better looking. AR7 is the only Henry product I have ever wanted to buy and this thing will never see the inside of my gun safe. Way too many established 357s out there at that price point that look and function like a real gun.

you guys expecting this for under $400 are just not being realistic. The thing is.....is this all the gun you can get for $928? This is all $928 will buy you? If so, we're in big trouble. I don't know of many shooters clamoring for a gun of this design. If Henry feels like entering the handgun market, great! The marketing team failed big time with this one though. Who were the beta testers? Who did Henry consult when they said "We want to jump into the revolver market. What design should we launch with?"

Without hands on either of them, how do y'all think this would compare to a similar version of the Rock Island revolver ? Again, price would be the 1st biggy.

Personally, I think the Philipine-made R200 38 Special is a nice-looking gun, lines-wise. Maybe a little less refined in the finish department, but I think it's an attractive revolver. Or maybe the $240 price is affecting my judgement.
No fewer minor aesthetic oddities on the Czech-made 357s, but much more refined in terms of finish and with a price which would make me shop for an older, used Smith, Security Six, etc.

I personallly find Henry rifles kind of ugly/cheap. That’s just me. Some guys think they are the prettiest thing out there. Some people are like crows. They see something shiny and have to have it. The high polish brass frame!!! Just looks so cheap to me. So it may appeal to the die hard Henry lovers? Not me though. Just got one in today a guy waited 8 months to get. When I saw It I thought you waited that long for this!!!! Lol

I've seen King Cobras at 950 lately. I think I would buy the Colt first.
