There's a 7 1/2" wrangler at my local gun store right now, must be a super, didn't look to closely at it to notice of it had adjustable rear sight or not, they just don't grab my attention

I think the new Super Wrangler will enjoy as much success as the regular Wranglers.
Are they "perfect" or whatever? No.
But they are a good solid entry level gun for fun & plinking. And so far, the ones I've shot have been "minute of beer can" or better.
And they are a DARN sight better than ANY Heritage I've had the displeasure of trying to shoot or enjoy. Luckily,, I've never bought a single Heritage. Just had some show up here & asked to give them a try.
I do think the Wrangler is the answer to the ORIGINAL alloy framed "Lightweight Single-Six" that Bill tried to market. This time,, they got it right & judging by the sales,, they have succeeded.

My Oldest Son bought me a Wrangler last year for Christmas to give my original Bisley Single Six a break from the trap line. Worst pile of crap I have ever owned. The cylinder binds on the recoil shield and shoots a pattern 6 inches high and 4 inches left, probably because of the forcing cone I do not think exists. It would be a better club than gun. What exactly is "plinking" and how does "minute of beer can" accuracy improve ones shooting ability? The only Heritage I shot was at a concealed carry course and it was the revolver provided. It shot better than half the Single Sixes I have owned.

Dmize, that’s exactly what mine was doing and it didn’t matter the type of ammo. Glad I’m not alone.

Mine is accurate and shoots to its sights but the cylinder drags on the recoil shield as mentioned above. Also, the spring-loaded base pin retainer is located too low in the frame to do much good. The base pin can be slid forward far enough that the transfer bar hangs up on the firing pin.

IMHO, the Super is lipstick on a pig. That said, I’ve only had one Wrangler, but that was enough for me.

This is definitely on my list of things to love about this forum.
You guys put it right out there on the line to keep others from traveling the same road.

Straight shooting feedback, both hood and bad, is a great thing!

For those here not afflicted with WDS (Wrangler Derangement Syndrome) here's the Gunblast review on the Super Wrangler... youtu.be/rTbaN_r4iCU

I'll never buy a new Ruger handgun again. Am sick and tired of sending them back to the factory to be fixed.
