I’m with Patrick1948 on this one. It’s the least accurate revolver I own and by a wide margin. I bought one and had all kinds of accuracy issues so I sent it back to Ruger. Per their policy, they didn’t divulge the issue but they kept it and sent me a new one. The new one shoots 50% better but is still highly inaccurate. I want to like them but can’t bring myself to spend the money based on the initial experience. Maybe someday…..

Funny to me all the Wrangler haters, Ruger has 29 different versions on their web site today, some never made it on there as exclusives. They must be selling a few of them

I have bought three Wranglers. Two for gifts when my brother's boys turned 7. I have the other. Mine has serious issues. I'm not sure about the ones I gave away.

The Gun World is in a downward spiral and has been for a while.
Ruger has put the M77 and #1s on ice and focused on the Plastic American.
I wonder how long before all the fine blue and stainless revolvers of the past are spray painted.
To each their own. But, I don't want one. Probably is suitable for a kid. I started out with a Hawes...

I like those John, But I want the adjustable sight. And The Magnum Cylinder, Sure gives it more punch. I can only think of one fixed sighted revolver in my safe. A New Service 45 Colt. I can ony shoot it in bright sunlight. ...tj

I was appalled when the Wrangler was introduced...Now I have five of them, none are "junk" although one did need the forcing cone re-cut a little. All of mine are just as accurate as most of the two dozen or so Single Sixes that I've owned. NO they're not gorgeous guns, but they're certainly durable and definitely fun to shoot...Which is their intended purpose. My first one is now north of 5,000 rounds and going strong. And, one of these new Super Wrangler's will absolutely be in my future.

I am all for the gun manufacturers making it easier to get folks into the fold with economical entries like these. That said, these particular guns are not for me. Now I do not have a “tribe” of grandkids like JT does so leaving single action 22s for the two grandsons is much simpler and economical for me. The oldest, yes his name is Scout, gets his great grandpas original Colt Frontier Scout and the youngest, Rexlan, gets the little single six David Clements built.
JT, I am envious of your grandchild bounty!!!

THANK YOU! I also have a pair of Single-Sixes for each of them and one Heritage .22 for each one. The oldest is scheduled to get the first adjustable-sighted Ruger Bearcat which now wears ivory grips.
