I’m thinking of fitting a 44-40 cylinder to a 44 SBH or two…
Anybody got a line on one? I have it in my head I could step a 210ish GCHP out of a 7 1/2” barrel right smart enough to slap the hide off a Jackrabbit…
My friend Alan Harton found a full sized 45 ACP cylinder at the big Tulsa gun show. I’m going to have him chamber it to take the Auto Rim case and fit it to a full Sized Bisley.
I’m not sure at the prices of components these days I couldn’t use a 9mm cylinder.

As always…….get cylinders for no reason. And you have them when you need them.

And I'm doing the opposite, fitting a Bisley.44 Mag cylinder to my 44-40. Need to fit a nose bushing.

Gives me an idea, I need to check the outer dimensions in a 9mm cylinder tonite, if that could be turned into a 44-40 cylinder to fit my blues flattop Bisley that would be the bee’s knees

RUGER CYLINDER LENGTHS VARY, ESPECIALLY FROM SOME CALIBERS TO OTHERS. IT IS ALWAYS A CRAP SHOOT WHEN YOU BUY A CYLINDER "IN THE BLIND".
