I have not had to bug powder in quite song time but with the 270 arriving I’ve been doing some research and it seems like Reloder 26 may be a good powder to try as I start reloading for it. Any place you guys can recommend to look?

Neither of the Oregon Cabelas had any RL-26.

That picture must be pre-Covid, or a mirage maybe??
We don't have that kind of choice or volume available out here in Oregon.

I went to two shops and one had about 10# of powder and the other literally had none! Sportsman’s Warehouse had 7-8 different powders but I bet j have more overall pounds of powder in my Cabinets than they did.

RL26 has been especially hard to find in the last few years. I'm a member of a Discord server for in stock reloading gear that gives near immediate notifications when something is in stock, and I haven't been able to get any in a couple years of looking. The only RL26 I could find was a local shooter with 2 lbs to sell.
I think this is one instance where you need to look at a different powder.

Back to H4831 it sounds like. The IMR 4831 worked great in my 270Win till at over7000 rds the throat was gone….

Back to H4831 it sounds like. I found my 270 load when I was 14yo, H4831, a 150gr Nos Partition at 3000fps and .75” 3 shot groups. Why look any further? I wouldn’t mind having a couple more pounds if that powder in the shelf (or an 8lb jug) but I’m not out so…

Alliant powders have been scarce for some time now, as you can see Hodgedon owned powders are making a good return, I was going to recommend H4350 for your 270
