Headed out to the Garden of the Gods in the Springs today. One of our favorite parks and it is so jamb packed with neat features and animals we always make one or two visits each time we see the kids. Today was overcast and mid twenties but as soon as we entered the park and headed to the first parking lot I looked out my window and laying not 30 yards off the road were 34 head of bighorn sheep rans! Done bedded down, some pushing each other and done just standing and staring back at the puffy coated bi-pedals gawking at them and snapping pictures with their phones. We’ve seen deer, raptors and tons of small game in the past but this was the first time we saw sheep to say nothing of a big bachelor bunch!

When we were stationed in the Springs, we would go to Garden of the Gods at least weekly. It was beautiful there.

Carried my son when he was fairly young and he still talks about wanting to go back. I think we will in the next year or two. I would say this year since he is graduating college but we have a house to finish.

I’d love to tide through the outer parts of the park if I had my animal out here!

The trading Post is a neat stop on a visit there. Some of the usual tourist stuff but some neat art and even a hood array of William Henry knives!

There's an annual conference of accounting information systems professors in CS every June. I love walking at Broadmoor in the mornings and then heading over to GotG in the evening...Shame Blue Star closed...one of my favorite restaurants when in town.
