this is a lil BBQ knife I bought, working a little on the sheath... tried a test piece of leather... several times to get the heat time & pressure on the brand right, or close... this is not cleaned up yet, but I can see unfinished leather brands nicer than leather with a finish... this will be fine, after clean up, as my personal knife... now I need to brush up ( clean up my brand ), as there must have been wax on the sheath, & it left residue between the letters

Catchy, kinda neat. People see the sheath much more than the blade. I would like to see the blade your photo has peaked my curiosity.

here's the blade... note the included bottle opener I still have to buff off the burnt edges of the finish, what ever they put on the sheath... test burnings on plain vegi tanned leather, were much clearer... thinking this will clean up & be much more "readable" after clean-up this is Japan forged steel... we have a kitchen knife in this brand / style, & MRS likes that quite a bit, I thought it might be an OK knife for cutting meat from the smoker

Neat blade, kinda a half Ulu. As such has a more usable point. You can skin beaver and Heineken.
