I work with “rare earth magnets” quite a bit, with a full steel liner attached to the grips, it could offer 20-25 lbs of pull to remove them… but then how would the steel liner be attached to the “ thin” wood… likely some sort of glue…
It could be a nice option, if done right

It does appear to be a well thought out & carefully crafted method of grip attachment. And if using normal .44 Spl loads,, then most likely ok. The gun looks nice,, but not my cup of tea. (I think if it's a custom, then they would know how to prevent the dreaded turn line on the cylinder.)

I see no issue. Strong little magnets. When is there significant lateral force to the grips? You're holding the grips on during recoil, so the concern must be while riding in a holster or whatever other scenario you imagine- swatted against a tree by a grizzly leaving you to fight him off with your bare hands?
Ronnie's blanks fit TIGHT. Grip screw is just insurance. I think I brought this (magnets for one piece looking grips) up with him some time ago, but the grip screw hole is a locator for the CNC cutting so it was a no-go.

"Custom" seems a bit of a stretch in the description. Other than the grips and accompanying oversized locator pin, someone added a part - a hammer. I'd expect that anyone doing a real custom would have at least complemented the expense and effort with a front sight and base-pin, but maybe not.
I'd be leery of the 2# trigger pull, indicating to me the necessity of a breakdown and thorough inspection of parts. I've handled a lot of revolvers with what the owner or seller described as a "great trigger," only to find out it is simply dangerously light and unpredictable.
Given my cynical nature, I'd combine the misused term "custom," along with the very light trigger and formulate the opinion that anyone calling a gun with an aftermarket part "custom" might also not be the best judge of action-work.
IF it's really a custom, AND I knew who did the work, THEN I might not has such reservations. Not to be mean, but to be cautious, as the descriptions given on that site often seem to be a bit creative.

That seems has posted "customs" like that for several months. Some are very nice, but most are kind of like this one. Maybe with an added SBH hammer or such.

Rare Earth magnets are very strong but they slide rather easily across whatever they're attached to. Once they get to the edge, they come right off.
Oh, they're electrically conductive and make great battery spacers inside flashlights if you use buttonless batteries

I have seen a set of grips like that before. The pin keeps the grips from sliding. It takes alot to remove them. That's why the guy who had them was selling them. Tired of fighting to remove them on a competition gun he cleans religiously.

Wouldn't worry me in the least. I like the idea as long as the tolerances were done right. Heck I have grips held on with clear silicone. (the thinking man's duct tape) Unless you're tacking up wanted posters or fixing fence with it, I doubt it would be a problem in reality.
