Walked out with a solid shooter. An H&R R92 nine shot .22LR. Out the door for $200. Gun is mint and appears to unfired. I won’t impress anyone with this one, but it is a great little working gun.

I enjoy the H&R's. They aren't the most beautiful lines or designs (blocky); but they function amazingly well. Form follows function. Usually inexpensive.
I have a couple that I play with occasionally. I picked up a mint H&R .32H&Rmag that is a hoot to shoot. It is the epitome of a weak looking shooter. I stay under 850fps with all my 32mag loads for this sixgun. It's a 5 shot that you have to pull on the ejector rod to release the cylinder. Too cool. It is also obviously the manufacturer that started the .32 H&R magnum. Today's Ruger 32mags are tanks in comparison firing ammo that would Kaboom that H&R.

Nothing wrong with that little revolver. I'd snag about any bargain like that I could...
Kudos...

Outstanding. Three inch barrel and adjustable sights. Nice!

COOL. Swing out cylinder, adjustable sights AND wood grips? That really is as nice as it gets from H&R .

I had a 4", fixed-sighted one of those, with a slightly skinnnier barrel. It was very accurate.
I always liked the shape of those grips. They were very natural-feeling to me.

I bought one like that with a 4” barrel for my oldest daughter years ago. She still has it and still shoots it. Not fancy, but very reliable.

I've only bought stuff that impresses me :-) I also need to stay out of local pawn shops, gun stores, and gun shows. But "generally" these visits are an inexpensive bit of entertainment, and sometimes they do make my bank account thinner but it's all good in the long run. One of my mottoes goes... "I can always get more money, but I don't always stumble onto a jewel shooter".
