If you are shooting 180's or 200 grn in your autos and either reloading or buying ammo from like Underwood or Cor Bon or others that are 1200 fps or higher in velocity what changes need to be made to your gun to handle/function properly? I am running a Glock 20 an 29 at the moment...Thanks

I have run those loads in stock Glock 20 and 29 and also in several 1911 platforms and just used the stock setup. I did have a Wilson shock buffer on a couple 1911s but don’t know if it was really needed. These guns were all for hunting so I wasn’t putting 100s of rounds through them but they all ran fine

Although we have no experience with 10mm Glocks, we run 20lb recoil springs in our 10mm 1911s; a GI no Name and DW Bruin.

I run a 22 lbs. spring in my Glock 20 and my Smith & Wesson M&P. My RIA 1911 10mms have the stock 20 lbs. spring, and I just picked up an XD-m Elite in 10m. That I have yet to do any experimenting with.
