Jack texted me pictures of those earlier. My testosterone levels don't go up to 500 Maximum, but beautiful guns...

475's? 500's? Or one of each?
Certainly some handsome horsepower either way. Wow!

My 500 max days are probably over! I'll be quite content with the standard 500 Linebaugh he's building......but they are beautiful guns!!

I'll be happy with the 500JRH whenever I get the time to work on it
In the meantime it's great to see jobs like this get out into the wild

When I built my .500 Maximum, Jack recommended 38 grs of 1680 with the 525 WFN. I tried many other powders and bullets but always came back to that one. I still plan on getting mine to 5,000 rounds to prove Ruger durability (not that there's any doubt). The gun currently sits at 4,250 and is as tight as the day I built it. They're something else to shoot at the top tier. That's a gorgeous pair. Thanks for the picture. -Lee www.singleactions.com "Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Beautiful guns, but too big for me, my arthritic thumbs would cry in anguish……

A revolver for each hand! I am not sure I could imagine shooting just one of them, with a full load anyway, but I was picturing trying to shoot both at the same time... It would have to be a Trailboss load, for me anyway, likely even with only one

OK, no one else has dared to ask, so I'll do it. Why two that appear identical? I can think of good practical reasons, but based on my own thinking. I'd like to hear from the owner who had them built why he had a pair made?
