Almost bought one new many years ago. Think it had a mountain lion on it or something... Have regretted not buying that one for years; but my 69 kind of fills that niche now.

I bought a first year Mountain Gun back in 1989 and kept it for 25 years. I foolishly sold it And have regretted it ever since.

Friends let me try the mtn gun and a 629 4". The 629 was offered to me but then I got to wrap my medium sized hands around a M69...it was over. But if the mtn gun had also been offered, I think I'd have been tempted. A lot to like about those. Sure hope somebody here, rescues that gun !

When I saw the price I thought "Oh that's not too bad." (which isn't a good thing, it means I'm getting used to the crazy prices. I think I paid $265 for mine.)
What surprised me was the lock hole, I didn't realize they made them that late. Then I noticed all the other later features. Less good price wise.
