I have done that very thing. In fact I have a little tool made to hold the cylinder in a drill press so a guy can do just that.

Notice it hasn't sold and has been there for quite a while. That being said they have been running way to close to the century mark for my taste

30 dollar base pin, 120 dollar rear sight if you can find one, 300 dollar grips, ? (200?) dollar Forkin tune (if you can get one), puts the gun at 840 without the time required. Certainly "tune" definition would be nice. If it's just the sear, meh. If it's polish everything inside that's different.
