Good morning everyone! I'm new here but definitely plan on being around a lot. I'm generally over on one of the 1911 forums a lot and I had this posted there and someone suggested this forum to me. Recently I came in to a couple of good to great deals on a couple Freedom Arms 83 .454s and I also have a couple Ruger Blackhawks. Both are flattops, one in .41mag and the other .44 special. More on those 4 later on. What are y'alls thoughts on the Clements Custom in .474 Linebaugh here: www.calguns.ned.php?t=1826394With the recent additions of the FAs its not like I NEED it, but it is sort of calling to me. I just don't know if it'd be a good move without seeing an actual build sheet.

BUY IT! you won’t be disappointed and that is a exceptional price. No reason for a build sheet, if clements built it it’s done perfectly and he’s done everything that’s needed on a conversion like this. It should be closer to 3500-4000 even more with the reloading supplies. Don’t wait someone here will snatch it up!

That's a steal. Build sheet is kind of irrelevant. The gun speaks for itself.
Big bore conversion in the Nimrod style. Looks like it wasn't a factory Bisley. Early gun based on CCG markings and caliber markings. Factory (style at least) base pin.
Needs a Bowen rear sight, Belt Mountain base pin, and is worth better grips, but otherwise that's a great package ready to go.
Appears that someone not Clements took it apart and didn't get the grip frame and action pins right when reassembling. Easy to reassemble correctly, and will help the aesthetics a lot.
It would have sold quick at that price on a different site, or for much more at auction.
Agree with price estimate above.

That’s nuts. You will have a hard time beating that price and on top of that Clements is retiring. You should throw yourself on that deal.

Posting it here was a VERY bad idea. Like asking a bunch of wolves if a chicken looked tasty. Knowing you're interested, I don't think I would stab you in the back, but had I not just done something stupid gun/money wise, I'd be tempted. Long story short, I would pay more than the asking price and I'm shocked it's been bumped so many times without a buyer. Actually see this, at this price has upset me. lmao

I reached out a little bit ago and told him I'd take it. I'll see what his reply is.

Just people who know a good buy when they see it. My first new Ford PU was $6399. What used to be and what is are not the same...
