12 Ga. Westley Richards Droplock. Made in 1899 for the 1900 Paris Exhibition. The oil-socked stock was dried and refinished. Leather covered pad added to get to my length of pull and the checkering was picked-up.

One before photo. It had a horn butt plate. The shotgun sat in a collection for over 50 years. In the 1950's it was re-chambered and reproofed for 2 3/4" shells. I shoot Fiocchi Trainer Loads, 7/8 ounce at 1200 fps in 8's or 7 1'2s for sporting clays.

Very nice, I have a friend that works for Rigby and restores old stocks on guns, and restocks if needed. His screwdriver handles have the prettiest wood from leftover scrap.

Steve gets some really interesting guns through his hands.
I sure love a classic British double gun, upland birds deserve to die to such graceful guns.

The wood and engraving aren't fancy enough. Seriously, that's utterly gorgeous!
