Nice revolvers at premium prices with crummy photos from folks with less that consistently great reviews give me reason for pause. These days, it’s not easy to take fuzzy and poorly exposed pic’s. Not a reason to run away but a reason for additional diligence.

That cylinder pin is not installed all the way. That screw us the locking part that is screwed up into a recess in the barrel once the base pin is fully inserted. Just another example of poor sales prep and photography.

I bought his stainless 500 Linebaugh. It was worth what I paid. But was not pristine but one I can correct a few things. Zane has the grip frame to make me a set of grips. It's not a transaction that will make you feel comfortable but he did everything he said he would do. His FFL is what gave me the confidence to finish the deal.

That seller also recently listed a stainless octagon-barreled Blackhawk in 500JRH built by Huntington. I'm hoping one of our members here snagged it, as there was at least one guy asking about the 500JRH recently and the list price was a steal. All it appeared to need from the horrible pictures in the listing was a bit of time with some gun oil and a 3M pad...
I'd probably send that Gallagher 475L back to Isaac for a checkup and re-blue (top strap looks like it's got a pretty decent skid mark). Definitely worth the opening bid in my mind.

That's the line of thought that I believe would be the safest. The pictures are poor at best. I was hoping that the pictures were bad but the gun was poorly represented and would show up in better condition. That said I was still way below the build price and a donor. If you factor in the cost of addressing some cosmetic issues you'll probably be fine.

Nice gun, needs a little TLC, but fired very little. It has a Super Blackhawk frame, wide spur hammer , and trigger that I’ll remove, and install a RW Bearskinner Bisley Grip frame, Bisley hammer and trigger. It definitely needs a scotch brite treatment, to get rid of a bit of that shine. Operates very smooth.

I talked to the seller about these guns months ago when they were first listed.
He’s a single dad with a handicapped child.
Seemed like a nice guy who has a lot on his plate.
