Axe, four months without any results from Taurus is unacceptable. Are you dealing with the Taurus plant in Bainbridge, GA? They repaired and returned my 856 in 10 days.

It is the enigma of the conundrum. Which is worse? Owning a gun that won't fire, or having a gun you own out of your possession? Think it's time to start calling up the ladder and demanding action or money back. And remember, putting customer service people and especially their managers on the spot can be very entertaining. Always ask their employee number or ID. Sometimes I tell them I'M recording the conversation. They generally start paying attention. I especially like pointing out they do not seem to be empowered to correct the problem so I need to talk to someone that is. Sometimes they work a little harder to prove they are. ![B-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/notamused.png) If you get nowhere, call back again tomorrow, and ask them to read the record of your calls and complaints. Tell them to log another complaint. Call every day.

Well, I just sold the 605 to pay for the New 6-shot Rossi, which still has the hammer-mounted firing pin, rebound slide and SIX shots, but it is still made my Taurus and if this is what I will have to deal with, I might just skip the Rossi and keep my money. My Charter Arms is ALMOST exactly what I want and I KNOW I will be taken care of if I have an issue.
Disappointing to hear this.

Just completed the purge of ALL Taurus products from my possession. There will be no more. The one still outstanding, that created the storm, will never be put in my name. It is the old: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
